Pinterest.com is one of the up and coming social media sites and more importantly is a great source of short term traffic to your website or blog. A correctly placed pin can drive targeted traffic to the page it was pinned from for 36-72 hours. Facebook announces Graph Search
Facebook announces Graph Search:
“In general, web search is designed to … return links that may have answers to the questions that you’re trying to ask. Graph search is designed to return the answer, not links that might get you to the answer.”
Although many people are already saying this is Facebook trying to take on web search giant Google, this is only a small step in that direction. The Graph Search as it exists now is a searchable database of the public photos you posted or got tagged in, places you checked in to, and things you click "like" on.

What does SEO mean? What is a Spider?
First, let's start with defining some of the most common terms.
SEO - is short for Search Engine Optimization, this is a broad term for all the things that go into getting your website, blog, video or other page to show up on search engine results for your keywords.
On Page SEO - The Optimization that you can actually see on the page that includes the page title, paragraph titles and content (descriptions or articles).
Off Page SEO - Optimization that not visible to human visitors but is seen by the search engine robots including meta data, keywords, incoming links and more (lots more info to come, let us start slow).
Spider or Robot - Search engines constantly search through the internet looking for updated and new pages to add to their listings and the program that does this is called a spider or sometimes referred to as a robot.
